Saint Mad

SaintMad portrait#1_1_1

Saint Mad brings a wealth of collective experience to their particular brand of pop. Rich vocal textures, unusual harmonies, and a fusion of diverse musical influences are the hallmarks of their original tunes and arrangements of familiar standards - everything from Frank Sinatra to the Beatles.

Martha, Molly, and Jim met in the choir at St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Philadelphia, PA, where Molly was music director, in 2001. They soon began writing songs together and playing at various venues and charitable events in the Philadelphia area. In 2005, they asked Lynda Chen - already a fan - to join the band, and happily, she agreed.
